China Homelife & Machinex Brazil 2024 ended last week (September 17-19) at São Paulo Expo, bringing together 8 fairs in one for the first time and attracting more than 16,000 entrepreneurs from all over the country.
VIP guests, whose number tripled compared to last year's edition, held more than 2,500 business meetings over the three days of the event.
Now, the fair announces an important strategic change that will give Brazilian entrepreneurs from the sectors of Construction Materials, Household Items and Gifts; Home Appliances and Consumer Electronics; Baby and Pregnancy; Industrial Machinery and Equipment; New Energy and Electricity, the opportunity to participate in the fair with spaces and the MatchMaking program for VIP buyers.
'This opening of the fair to national companies opens up a unique opportunity in this space
"which is consolidating itself as one of the largest business marketplaces in Brazil," says Anselmo Carvalho, organizer of the fair in Brazil. "With the opening for Brazilian companies to showcase their products, it will be possible to place orders in smaller volumes, facilitating access for entrepreneurs who do not yet have such a large demand. In this year's edition, a first trial with the participation of Brazilian trading companies showed that the model has all the potential to expand to manufacturers and retail and wholesale companies."
According to Anselmo, the fair will not change its standard and will always seek the best cost/benefit for the exhibitor, since it is an eminently business space. "For example, with our VIP program, the guest already receives a recommendation of the area where they will find solutions (products and services) of interest with a pre-confirmed appointment. Then, if the entrepreneur wants to visit other areas, they can simply walk around the various fairs with free passes.
This year, more than 600 booths were presented across 20,000 square meters, featuring 30,000 items, from household items to industrial machinery and equipment, and the new strategy is expected to increase this number. "From startups to large Brazilian companies, we are opening our spaces to new opportunities that will generate more business among exhibitors and between exhibitors and visitors," concludes Anselmo.
The next edition has already been confirmed from September 16 to 18, 2025 at São Paulo Expo.
